A formal complaint has been filed in Argentina with the Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP) against Meta, the parent company of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram.
The complaint focuses on the company’s use of personal data for artificial intelligence (AI) training.
The AAIP, as the enforcement authority of the Personal Data Protection Law of Argentina (Law 25,326), will be in charge of evaluating and responding to this presentation.
