BEREC promotes responsible AI development and regulation

On 23 September 2024, BEREC [ Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications ] Vice-Chair Kostas Masselos participated in the AI Summit, a global event focused on AI and Machine Learning, held online.
Masselos highlighted BEREC’s commitment to monitoring AI developments and their impact on electronic communications.
He emphasized that regulatory measures must evolve in tandem with technological advancements.
BEREC will continue collaborating with EU institutions, European bodies, and networks to ensure that digital technologies, services, and products benefit European citizens.
