Eight organizations to join Canada’s voluntary AI code of conduct

In this article:

1. Recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI) technology are benefiting society in various ways, including:
  - Improving supply chain management
  - Enhancing health care and precision medicine
  - Addressing environmental sustainability challenges
2. These advances highlight the urgency of ensuring that AI systems, especially advanced generative AI systems, are developed and managed safely.
3. Today, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, announced a voluntary commitment from eight more organizations.
4. These organizations support the ongoing development of a robust and responsible AI ecosystem in Canada.
