Dr. Jacob Hagelberg is a scholar of trust in socio-technical systems and a responsible AI consultant. His research offers fresh thought leadership on topics such as US-China tech relations, misinformation narratives, tech bias and fairness, the AI regulatory landscape, digital wellness, and macro-economic trends. Currently, Jacob is a consultant for Domelabs, assisting health institutions strategically adopt and responsibly govern generative AI. He also has revitalized the Technology Ethics program in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Davis and continues to serve as its instructor.
