Angela Huyue Zhang is Professor of Law at USC Gould School of Law, widely recognized for her scholarship on technology regulation, antitrust, and the governance of digital platforms. She is author of Chinese Antitrust Exceptionalism (2021) and High Wire: How China Regulates Big Tech and Governs Its Economy (2024), works that critically analyse China’s tech-regulation model and its implications for global law. Her current research focuses on regulation of artificial intelligence and cross-border tech governance, and she plans to teach courses on AI regulation starting 2025. Before joining USC, she taught at the University of Hong Kong, New York University School of Law, and King’s College London, and practiced as an antitrust and bankruptcy lawyer.
