Dr. Mandy Crawford-Lee is Chief Executive of the University Vocational Awards Council (UVAC), the leading UK body representing higher-education institutions engaged in vocational and degree apprenticeships. With over 30 years of experience in skills policy, vocational education reform, and strategic planning, she has shaped national apprenticeship frameworks — including managing the UK government’s Higher Apprenticeship Fund and revising the Specification of Apprenticeship Standard in England (SASE). Under her leadership, UVAC has championed higher and degree apprenticeships, forging partnerships across government, universities, employers, and professional bodies.
