Prof. Manuel is Co-Founder and Partner at Rice, Hadley, Gates & Manuel LLC, a strategic consulting firm that helps U.S. companies navigate international markets and regulatory environments. She also serves as Executive Director of Aspen Strategy Group and Aspen Security Forum, leading one of the most respected bipartisan forums on U.S. foreign policy and global security. Earlier, she worked at the U.S. State Department (2005-2007) focusing on Asia-policy issues, served as an attorney at a major law firm, and began her career in investment banking. Manuel is also an author — her book on U.S.–India–China relations has been widely cited — and continues to contribute to public debates on global governance, strategy, and international markets.
