The Artificial Intelligence Act a proposed law for EU countries. The Bulgarian government approved on 16 December 2020 its national AI strategic document with an objective to build trust in AI and to develop regulatory framework for the development and implementation of reliable AI in line with established legal and ethical principles within the EU.
« There is no specific law or regulation on the use of AI. However, some
general laws and regulations may apply to the use of AI in certain
sectors or applications. But as of 23 March 2023, it has adopted
ethics guidelines for the use of AI. » On 21 May 2020 the Ministry of Digital Transformation of
Ukraine (the “Ministry”) published on its website the Concept
of the Development of AI in Ukraine (the “Concept”) for public
discussion, aimed at introducing regulatory framework.
