The Artificial Intelligence Act a proposed law for EU countries. The Austrian strategy follows the European draft of the AI law and intends to analyse, with AI regulatory sandboxes, how new innovative technologies function in the existing regulatory environment, and thereby also offers regulators the opportunity to gain important insights into whether and where there is a need for regulation.

strategy has a dedicated section on legal and social
aspects of AI, ethical rules, consumer protection and security issues.

alleviate any regulatory constraint to the development of AI technologies.
