The guide contained a detailed roadmap on how various state and private institutions can help in the development, deployment, and oversight of AI technologies in a responsible manner.
« Shenzhen AI Regulations have been formulated to promote the high-quality development of the AI industry in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, encourage AI integration in the economy and society, and ensure orderly and standardized industry growth in accordance with relevant laws and Shenzhen area situation. » Then, in 2021, the National Special Committee of New Generation Artificial Intelligence, a body established by the aforementioned guide, issued a Code of Ethics for New-Generation Artificial Intelligence to ensure any future development of AI technologies is in line with appropriate ethics and regulatory requirements.
